Who do I call if I have an emergency?

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellation.

There is a $75 cancellation/no-show fee.

Do I need a referral from a doctor?
-
No. Referrals are not required.

Do you accept insurance?
-
Our counselors accept MOST forms of insurance, including most forms of Medicaid. We do NOT accept Medicare. Please call the office to verify.

We DO NOT accept insurance for psychiatric services.
-
For psychiatric services - we can prepare a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Do you prescribe medications?

Our LPC-S's, LPC's, and LPC-A's do NOT prescribe medications.

Ken Nicholson, our psychiatric nurse practitioner CAN prescribe medications. Please click on the "Psychiatric NP" tab at the top of the page for more info.

What do I bring to my first appointment?

Please navigate to the "therapist" tab at the top of the screen and click on "forms".

Find your therapist's name and click the button to open up the forms.

Print and fill out these forms and bring them with you, along with your insurance card, to your first appointment.

What if I don't like my therapist?

We encourage you to keep an open line of communication with your therapist and address any concerns with them. If at anytime you do not feel comfortable addressing your therapist directly, please let a member of the office staff know or reach out via email at counseling4life@gmail.com.
